Let's play a game

Hello, I'm Heybye :)

I love games and "PWNED!" is my first game! I'd like to share this beautiful and fun game with you all, please check the playbook below, download "print & play", and give it a try! Let me know how do you think about the game!

How To Play?

Setting Up the Board

Each player selects their side and places one piece on the starting position labelled "2."

Both players randomly draw one of the six facedown mines. The number on the mine indicates their secret mine location. If the opponent steps on it during the game, the mine explodes, removing the opponent's piece and replacing it with the mine. That node becomes impassable for the remainder of the game.

Starting the Game

Players take turns in alternating rounds. In the first round, the first player can perform only one action. In subsequent rounds, each player may perform two actions per turn in any order. After the first round, each player must move their starting piece out of their mine area and cannot return to it.

A single node can only be occupied by one player’s piece at a time.

Actions (Choose Two Per Turn, Actions May Repeat)

Move: Move a piece one step to an adjacent, connected node.

Fork(): Place a new piece on an adjacent, connected node.

Zip: Stack three pieces in a straight line by gathering them onto one node at either end of the line.

Unzip: Expand a stack of pieces on a single node along connected lines. Pieces can be spread in any direction or path.

Free Action – Delete

During your turn, if two of your pieces (including mines) flank an opponent’s piece, you may delete the opponent's piece. Two zipped stacks can flank and delete an opponent’s zipped stack.

If the deleted piece is carrying a hidden mine, the two flanking pieces are also deleted.

Connection Violation:

Players must maintain a clear path between their pieces and their server at all times, allowing at least one opponent piece to connect to their server. If a player unintentionally causes a disconnection, they must delete pieces until the connection is restored.

If a mine explosion causes disconnection, the player must restore the connection in their next turn. If the connection is not restored after their two actions, they must delete pieces until the connection is reestablished.

Victory Conditions

The first player to move a piece to the opponent’s "server" node and declare “PWNED!” wins the game. If a player determines that the opponent cannot win, they may declare “PWNED!” to claim victory and end the game immediately.
